09:31 am: Easter Saturday. We were going sailing with the next doors today, but he's a bit hungover so it's monday now. Instead I shall catch up on things around the house. Gotta empty the poo bucket from the .van. Porta potti. Had a good feed of prawns yesterday. Yummy

08:17 am: Well, it's Good Friday and Ineke's boys are comng for lunch. Curried egg sangers I believe!!! This arvo is a barby at the neighbours. Prawns. Yummy!!
Nikki and Chris are coming on sunday.

12:50 pm: Nikki and Chris came over to lunch yesterday and Chris spent an hour or two trying to rewire the tv,video,dvd & fox so they could all work properly together. He managed to get them right!! Thanks mate.
This morning I watched the Wallabies (Wobblies) eat dirt at the hands of the Froggies! Ha! Better luck next time. After that the All Blacks kicked the Welsh backsides. Fantastic!!
I'm trimming trees and getting the 'van ready for next weekend between showers.

08:50 pm: Merry Christmas
I looked at this for the first time in ages and realise that it has been ages since it has been written in. Not that anyone is really interested in reading it but anyway I will waffle on some.

Fistly let me wish you all who may read this a very merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. My Son Steven was a little disappointed today at only getting a 6 for his OP score. Would have liked to have had a 1,2 or 3. He also missed out on getting into the University in the Army. He passed the first two stages with flying colours... Bombed out in the last selection phase by not showing enough leadership skills during the obstacle course.

But I am proud of him anyway. He was Dux in accounting over the whole school for year 12. John is transferring to Uni next year to continue his study in Architecture. He is doing great guns with his studies at TAFE.

Christmas time is really a sad time. Makes one realise that your all alone, even if you have people around you, when there is no real family to share Christmas with you. I guess I am becoming a little melodramatic. But it's times like this that you miss the old family gettogethers with MUM and DAD and the aunts and uncles counsins etc..... My boys are going to Tasmania to be with their grandmother (ex husband mother) and aunt and uncles (on his side) for Christmas, so there will be just me again. Oh it's lovely to have Pat and his family around but it is just not the same. I guess I will get used to it one day.

Well that is enough waffling from me.

09:26 pm: a bit of an update
The unpacking is going slowly. Had last two days off (sick) started with a migraine... better today. Cleaning lady came and helped some. Then had to call the snake catcher as I spotted snake outside when I went to sit outside on my swing to have lunch. .... snake disappeared.... cost money but no snake caught... the snake catcher says it is only a tree snake and is harmless.... yoooooooo don't tell that to a person who is petrified of snakes...anyway if spotted again catcher will come out for nothing. Hope the darling tree snake has found somewhere else to sunbake and hangaround.

03:49 am: an awful week.
We finally had to move house. The owners wanted the house back so broke the lease. Had to take us to court to do it. We found another house. What a disaster!!!. All looked ok on the surface. Then WHAT A SMELL????? I swear you could grow potatoes in the dirt accumulated on the light and fan switches and behind the toilets... yukkie.... so I ended up taking the whole week off work. Monday & Tuesday Cleaned up the house we are moving into. Bleach came in quite handy. The smell remained. The hot water system leaks and is in a cupboard which has carpet and no doubt something is rotting there. Wednesday the big packing day put what I could in boxes. Thursday the trucks arrived one to move my Grand Piano the other to pick up the boxes I had prepacked and the furniture and stuff. There is still heaps to be moved out of the house. What a mess and amazing how much stuff is accumulated in 16 months. Will have several trips to and fro today packing my Suzuki to its limits. Cleaning lady coming today to help with the windows walls etc. Don't know when I will have time to unpack here. Living amongst boxes and the furniture not placed in their right places. I ache all over. Poor Pat was completely buggered yesterday after working from 2 a.m. till 6:30 a.m. then packing and moving and making several trips to and fro. It is nearly 4 am and I will be leaving shortly to continue packing and emptying the house and cleaning.THANKS REBECCA FOR YOUR HELP YESTERDAY... WAS GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Well we've been given our marching orders. This house is sold and we have to be out by the 21st Feb!
That's their opinion.
We have a leasde so they will have to move us.

It was a lovely hot hot hot day. We ate Roast Pork, Roast Chicken, Ham, Prawns, Roast Potatoes, Roast Sweet Potatoes, Honeyed Carrots, Zucchini-tomatoe-onion mix. Was yummy. Rebecca bought over delicious Triffle (which didn't get eaten until the next day by me).

04:54 pm: well I just spent 30 minutes putting all my feeling down on this and I hit the wrong button and lost it all..... I am not retypping it....
Just said in it that I loved all my Chrissy presents.. That I love all you heaps... and that this is the first Christmas since I have been in the Baillie family that I actually felt that I belonged and didn't feel unwanted or rejected or like an intruder.

06:02 am: The Time of Year
Ain't it hot!!!??? I miss my air conditioner.
It's a busy time. The Land Rover needs a new thermostat and like everything about this car, it's not easy. So we're taking it out to Ineke's cousin's place at Burpengary this morning. (He's a mickanik!) At least the taxi's hanging in ok.
I've got a sore ankle. Must of twisted it. It means I can't walk around shopping centres so I don't know what's going to happen about pressies! I've also got a blocked ear. That'll have to be syringed out as well!
As Ineke mentioned we've got some neighbours coming over for champers and chicken breakfast on Xmas morn. Decadent, wot?
The place is looking good 'cos the lawns got mowed yesterday. Seems they need it every second day at the moment!

11:06 am: Well It is Saturday the 22 December, another 3 days and Christmas will be upon us once again. I have a cold and not feeling that great. Have to get busy and get the place in order for the Christmas morning chicken and champagne visitors. Then the families for lunch. Will keep me busy. I haven't bought any presents as yet as do not know what to buy. (an no money really to buy anything decent). I have a few days off work, don't have to go back till the 7th January. Was going to drive down to Bendigo for a few days but am not now as John cannot get enough days free. (He has to work for his dad's icecream truck as his dad has gone to Tasmania for a couple of weeks) Will be nice to spend Christmas with my boys this year, Christmas without family of your own can be very lonely, even if there are many others there with you.

Yesterday we went to the caravan and camping show.
We bought a toilet/shower tent (called an ensuite!)
Drooled over some new caravans as well.
Today we're off to see Fred and Rose on the boat at the marina.
